Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: We do accept many insurance plans. We can review your plan with you and determine coverage individually, simply discuss this with us at your appointment. We do bill for motor vehicle accidents and for workers’ comp injuries, and simply need a prescription from medical doctor or chiropractor and claim number.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Our cancellation policy: we have reserved your appointment time for you and we respect your time and make it a habit to not keep you waiting. We request at least 24-hr notice of cancellation in order to avoid a charge. Barring emergencies, you are responsible for paying for your scheduled treatment if you do not show up for your appointment. We thank you in advance for being considerate of our therapists’ time.

Q: How do I know what kind of massage to get? There seem to be so many options!
A: Our experienced massage therapists are trained in many different styles and modalities of massage and bodywork. It is our job to take your expectations and preferences and turn them into results, using whatever techniques fit your body and needs best.

Q: How long of a massage do I need?
A: Most of our clients get 60 or 90-minute treatments. If you do not have too many areas of concern, an hour is just enough time for a full body massage. However, if you’d like a little more attention, such as a stiff neck or cramping calves, 90 minutes allows the time for some focused work. And if you don’t have the time for a full body massage or just want a quick focus session, 30 minutes is certainly time to make a difference.
